Notes

• Rendering: instructions are joined with newlines; template has its placeholders replaced by variables. When both are set, the rendered template is appended after the instructions.
• Every {{variable}} in template must have a value in variables, or the config is rejected.
• When an agent or team sets prompt, the rendered prompt replaces that agent’s or team’s own instructions.
• Updating a prompt re-renders it and propagates to every agent and team that references it.
